Day 1: Airlie Beach

WELCOME ABOARD | HOOK ISLAND | NARA INLET

Board your private yacht in the late morning from Airlie Beach and settle in as your crew welcomes you aboard. Enjoy lunch prepared onboard as you cruise through the Whitsunday Islands towards Hook Island and the sheltered waters of Nara Inlet.

Surrounded by steep, forested slopes, Nara Inlet offers a peaceful setting for your first afternoon on the water. Swim, kayak or explore the shoreline by tender before stepping ashore to follow the short Ngaro Cultural Site walking trail. Here, ancient rock art and interpretive displays provide an insight into the Ngaro people and their enduring connection with the Whitsunday Islands.

Return to the yacht for a relaxed evening anchored within the inlet or another secluded anchorage selected by your captain. As the light fades across the islands, enjoy drinks on deck followed by dinner prepared onboard for your first night in the Whitsundays.

Day 2: Whitehaven Beach & Hill Inlet

SWIMMING | BEACH WALKS | SCENIC LOOKOUTS | SNORKELLING

Wake to breakfast onboard before cruising to Tongue Bay, the gateway to one of the Whitsundays’ most celebrated views. Step ashore for the short walk to Hill Inlet Lookout, where shifting tides create the distinctive patterns of white silica sand and turquoise water for which this part of the Whitsundays is renowned. Return to your yacht and cruise to Whitehaven Beach, with time to swim, walk the white silica shoreline or enjoy beach activities or optional walk to South Whitehaven Lookout before returning onboard for lunch.
In the afternoon, conditions permitting, cruise across to Chalkies Beach on nearby Haslewood Island for the opportunity to snorkel its fringing reef and discover coral and tropical marine life beneath the surface. Alternatively, your captain can select another nearby reef site offering the best conditions on the day. As the afternoon winds down, return to the yacht and settle into a sheltered anchorage for your final evening in the Whitsundays, with sunset cocktail, evening dinner prepared onboard and stargazing into the evening.
