Ryan Woods
Captain
Born on the Space Coast of Florida in Titusville, Ryan grew up cruising the waterways and local rivers with his dad, developing a passion for the ocean and honing his fishing skills from an early age. Encouraged by a family friend to explore the yachting industry, he moved to Fort Lauderdale at 21 and never looked back. With nearly a decade of experience in the industry, Ryan has built an impressive career on both yachts and sportfishing boats that have carried him along the Eastern Seaboard and throughout the Bahamas and Caribbean. A licensed captain and skilled boat handler, Ryan loves to guide guests through tender excursions around the islands—exploring local spots, snorkeling, fishing, picnicking on hidden sandbars, and hiking. He's also quite the watersports enthusiast with a strong surfing background, making him the perfect guy to guide guests through any watersport adventure—whether it’s mastering the Fliteboard, riding a SeaBob, or having fun on a jetski.
In his spare time, Ryan enjoys fishing wherever he can—be it in the Everglades or offshore—hunting, golfing, or free diving. Friendly and approachable, he has a natural ability to make everyone feel comfortable while on board LUCKY LADY, ensuring every guest's adventure is both safe and unforgettable.
