- When | November-April
- Duration | 5 Days - 4 Nights
- Departs | Kuah
- Concludes | Kuah
Day 1: Kuah
EMBARKATION | ISLAND CRUISING | QUIET ANCHORAGES
Board your yacht in Kuah and begin with an easy cruise into the southern Langkawi archipelago. Settle into life onboard as the yacht passes smaller forested islands before reaching Pulau Tuba, one of Langkawi’s inhabited sister islands and a quieter contrast to the main island. Spend the afternoon swimming, paddleboarding or exploring by tender before dinner onboard at anchor.
Day 2: Dayang Bunting & Beras Basah
FRESHWATER LAKE | SWIMMING | BEACHES
Cruise to Dayang Bunting Marble Geoforest Park, where a collapsed cave formation created the island’s distinctive freshwater lake surrounded by dense tropical forest. Go ashore to explore the lake before continuing through the southern islands for swimming and time on the beach around Beras Basah. Return onboard for a relaxed afternoon in a sheltered anchorage.
Day 3: Tanjung Rhu
MANGROVES | LIMESTONE KARSTS | WILDLIFE
Continue north to the dramatic coastline surrounding Kilim Karst Geoforest Park. Explore its mangrove waterways and limestone formations by tender or kayak, with opportunities to observe the region’s birdlife and distinctive coastal ecosystem. Later, cruise towards Tanjung Rhu for an afternoon of swimming and relaxation against a backdrop of forest and limestone scenery.
Day 4: Datai Bay
RAINFOREST | BEACHES | WATERSPORTS
Cruise around Langkawi’s northern and western coastline towards Datai Bay, where rainforest-covered hills meet the Andaman Sea. Spend the day swimming, kayaking or enjoying the yacht’s watertoys, with the option to go ashore for additional exploration depending on the yacht’s programme. The surrounding area forms part of Langkawi’s wider UNESCO Global Geopark landscape.
Day 5: Kuah
SNORKELLING | MARINE LIFE | RETURN CRUISE
Make an early departure south towards Pulau Payar Marine Park for a final morning focused on the water. The protected islands are recognised as one of the west coast’s established diving and snorkelling areas, with coral habitats and marine life beneath the surface. Activities are subject to marine park regulations, weather and the yacht’s operating requirements. After lunch, cruise back to Kuah to conclude the charter.
