Depart Nara Inlet and cruise along Hook Island’s western coast to Stonehaven Bay, enjoying views of the surrounding islands during a relaxed morning stop. Continue around the northwestern headland to Butterfly Bay, where suitable conditions offer opportunities to snorkel above fringing reef.
Make your final visit to Manta Ray Bay for further underwater exploration and marine photography. Public moorings and reef protection areas apply at these northern bays, so the captain will choose suitable stopping points and an overnight location according to the forecast and yacht requirements.
Day 3: Blue Pearl Bay 1 & 2, Border Island & Tongue Bay

Set off early towards Hayman Island to explore Blue Pearl Bay’s two neighbouring reef areas. Choose one main snorkelling session, with a second visit if conditions and available time allow, before cruising east towards Border Island. Pause at Cateran Bay for lunch and, where practical, a short swim or snorkel.
Continue south to Tongue Bay during the afternoon, positioning the yacht for tomorrow’s Hill Inlet visit. This is the itinerary’s fullest cruising day, so the captain may shorten individual stops to ensure arrival in daylight. Enjoy dinner onboard and overnight at a suitable anchorage in the area.
Day 4: Hill Inlet & Whitehaven Beach

Go ashore from Tongue Bay, with the landing timed around tidal access, and follow the walking track to Hill Inlet lookout. Take in the shifting patterns of white sand and turquoise water before returning to the yacht. Tongue Bay is an established access point for this walk.
Cruise along Whitsunday Island’s eastern shore to Whitehaven Beach for lunch onboard and an afternoon ashore. Walk along the silica sands, photograph the coastline and enjoy swimming where the crew advises conditions are suitable. Finish with a farewell dinner, staying overnight at a location selected for shelter.
Day 5: Hamilton Island Marina

Spend the final passage relaxing on deck and watching the islands pass before returning to Hamilton Island Marina at the agreed disembarkation time.
