Day 1: Coral Sea Marina & Nara Inlet
ISLAND CRUISING | CULTURAL WALK | ONBOARD DINNER
Board your yacht at Coral Sea Marina and cruise towards Hook Island, leaving Airlie Beach behind as the island passages open ahead. Enter Nara Inlet and spend the afternoon exploring its wooded shoreline. Go ashore to follow the Ngaro Cultural Site track, where rock art and interpretive information introduce the Traditional Owners’ connection to the islands. Return onboard for dinner and overnight at a suitable anchorage within the inlet.
Day 2: Blue Pearl Bay 1 & 2 & Bait Reef Lagoon
REEF SNORKELLING | OFFSHORE CRUISING | MARINE PHOTOGRAPHY
Depart early for Hayman Island’s northwestern shore and visit the neighbouring areas of Blue Pearl Bay 1 and 2. Focus your morning snorkelling on the site offering the best conditions, keeping the second visit brief to allow sufficient time for the offshore passage.
Continue northeast towards Bait Reef Lagoon, arriving in daylight for a crew-led assessment of the reef and mooring conditions. If time permits, enjoy an afternoon snorkel before dinner onboard. Stay overnight only where the forecast, mooring availability and vessel requirements allow; otherwise, the captain will arrange an appropriate alternative.
Day 3: Whitehaven Beach
SCENIC CRUISING | BEACH EXPLORING | FAREWELL DINNER
Begin the return passage from Bait Reef early, enjoying breakfast onboard as you cruise towards Whitsunday Island. Arrive at Whitehaven Beach and go ashore to stretch your legs along the white sands. Enjoy swimming where the crew advises conditions are suitable, or spend time photographing the shoreline and surrounding hills.
Depending on arrival time, take a walk near the southern end of the beach before returning to the yacht. Gather for a farewell dinner, with the overnight location selected for suitable shelter.
Day 4: Airlie Beach
MORNING CRUISING | ONBOARD BREAKFAST | WATERFRONT EXPLORING
Enjoy breakfast during the final cruise through the islands towards Airlie Beach. Relax on deck before returning to Coral Sea Marina for disembarkation at the agreed time. If your onward arrangements allow, finish with a waterfront lunch or a walk along the foreshore.
