About the Hawkesbury Superyacht

Corroboree is a 33mt (110ft) superyacht that takes her name from the Aboriginal word meaning “gathering or ceremony” making her the perfect choice for our superyacht voyages around Australia on our YOTSPACE superyacht voyages.  

Guests can enjoy the most exquisite food and fine Australian wines, beers, basic spirits and cocktails while cruising around the rivers and waterways of Sydney Harbour, Hawkesbury River and her northern shores, all freshly prepared by our on-board chef and served by the attentive crew.  

Our superyacht was custom designed to conduct immersive expeditions throughout the waterways of Australia. The superyacht is fitted with stabilizers to minimize boat roll in all weather conditions providing guests with the ultimate in comfort during your Hawkesbury superyacht charter.

Superyacht Toys

For the adventurous and energetic, her water toys will keep all guests entertained from the aft hydraulic swim platform for the sunny days on the water. 

The superyacht sports a collection of water toys including kayaks, stand up paddleboards, wakeboard, lilypad, inflatable sofa and a jet ski. A vast range of water gear suited for professional fishing, scuba diving (diving at guests extra expense – must be requested at time of booking) and snorkelling are also freely available for use.

Hawkesbury Superyacht Charters Highlights

Sydney Harbour 
Guests board the superyacht at the Rozelle Bay Superyacht Marina to enjoy a welcome drink and meet other expedition guests. Once settled in we embark upon our voyage to Broken Bay where the crew anchor the yacht for the day and evening at Pittwater and guests begin their Hawkesbury River adventure. 

Wine & Dine
Our on-board chef will be creating culinary delights matched with fine Australian wines, sparkling wine, beers, basic spirits and cocktails to tantalise even the most well-developed palate for the entire voyage. We will partake in some shore tours where guests may disembark and enjoy cocktails and picnics in charming riverside locations such as the Hawkesbury River or iconic outlets such as Peats Bite.  

Hawkesbury River Shore Tours  
Guests have the option of joining an historical shore tour on Bar Island within the Hawkesbury River and tour the convict grave yards and church ruins. We anchor in Coasters Retreat off the Basin and guests go ashore to admire the towering Hoop Pines and the picturesque lagoon where we set up for water play. Guests also partake in a fascinating 2 hour tour of the famous Broken Bay Pearl Farm. We pop into Peats Bite for a drink or a snack and admire this hidden gem. There are so many interesting historic and cultural places to explore around the Hawkesbury River region each day is a new adventure. Don’t forget to take some time to just sink your feet into the sand, wade into the water that gently laps the shore and just relax and drink in this stunning location. 

Superyacht Water Toys

For the more adventurous you may wish to plot your own voyages by paddle boarding, kayaking or jet skiing to explore the surrounding rivers and creeks of the majestic Mooney Mooney Creek. For those who wish to try their luck fishing in this famous river you may try and toss a line off the stern of the superyacht for some fun.

This ensures our food is less travelled and we have less wastage on our superyacht voyages. We are environmentally conscious of our yachting impacts and maintain structured policies to ensure we leave our destinations with what we came with. No shoe policy on the superyacht – medical conditions may apply.
No smoking on the superyacht without prior permission from the captain.

Travel Insurance

We highly recommend you secure comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking your YOTSPACE superyacht charter holiday. This can be arranged through your luxury travel agent or a travel insurance company of your choice. 
On purchasing this Travel Offer you are bound by the General Terms and Conditions, in addition to the specific terms and conditions outlined in this Important Information. Please ensure to read full Terms and Conditions.

Confirmed Departure: This is a sole charter YOTSPACE superyacht voyage. Each luxury yacht charter voyage is a departure based on the receipt of the full payment on or before the eighth week of embarkation. Should the yacht fail to depart voyagers will be given the option of choosing another luxury yacht option with similar or same inclusions, costs and terms and conditions of the superyacht that was originally requested. Should we not find a suitable replacement yacht a refund less any bank merchant fees and a 10% administration fee will apply. We always recommend Travel Insurance and that all ancillary travel reservations have flexible conditions.

Payment Policy
To secure a luxury yacht charter voyage with YOTSPACE, a 50% deposit or full payment is required within forty-eight (48) hours of receiving confirmation of Your booking request.  Full payment is required on or before sixty (60) calendar days (8 weeks) before the Voyage Departure date. If the departure date is inside the sixty (60) calendar days (8 weeks), full payment must be paid at the time of booking.  As mentioned above, due to potential operational, Government directives, weather issues or other disasters out of our control we cannot guarantee that all voyages will depart.  Your YOTSPACE superyacht agent will notify You in the event the luxury yacht charter is cancelled.    

Guest Cancellations
Cancellation requests must be made in writing.  You are strongly advised to speak with your YOTSPACE crew member with regard to the purchase of specific travel insurance for the luxury yacht charter at the time of booking.  Cancellation requests received sixty (60) days or less prior to voyage departure – forfeiture of 50% deposit – Should we re-sell that reserved voyage, for that departure, for that date, prior to the Superyacht charter departure, an administration fee equal to only 10% of the voyage shall apply along with any bank or merchant transfer fees.  Cancellation within Thirty (30) days or less -100% of full Charter Fare to be forfeited.  Failure to board at the time of the luxury charter yacht voyage departure – 100% of the total Voyage Fare forfeited to the Contractor YOTSPACE. Note: Please refer to each individual private charter agreement prior to confirming your yacht charter agreement as these cancellations conditions may alter on some occassions such as peak season or special events.

Covid/ Pandemic Policy
Should a pandemic or an outbreak occur and disrupt travel plans in the destination of departure or a ruling government prevent travel, all paid bookings will be held for future travel when permitted and subject to availability.  Guests may be moved to another luxury yacht charter with similar or the same terms and conditions of the deferred voyage at no charge. Guests may also have the option of a refund of monies paid less any bank merchant fees and a 10% administration fee subject to the terms and conditions of the individual yacht charter agreement. Please consult your YOTSPACE superyacht crew member and update your travel insurance policy for the change of voyage date and change of yacht.

Provisioning Policy:- Should the superyacht charter voyage be cancelled last minute and the superyacht has already been supplied with the advanced provisioning of fresh food, supplies and beverages, the cost of the provisioning will be applied to your charter cost fees and no refund applies.

Hawkesbury Superyacht Charters – Sample Itinerary

All of our YOTSPACE superyacht voyage itineraries are specifically curated with the charter guests requests in mind. Our luxury superyachts will endeavour to follow the voyage as described in each custom itinerary and the passenger accepts that each superyacht Captain has the right to change the itinerary, the yacht, or cancel the cruise as a result of some Unexpected Event or prevailing inclement weather conditions. The passenger accepts that the passenger will not be entitled to any compensation or a refund of the fare paid should this occur. The Whitsundays luxury yacht charter itinerary is an example only and is subject to weather conditions and the Captains discretion.

Child Policy

All YOTSPACE sole charter superyacht voyages are intended for both adults and children who are travelling with family dependant on the region of the voyage. Children under the age of eighteen(18) (minors) will be accepted in circumstances where the charter is a sole charter voyage and cruising in a safe region. Parents and guardians are to take full responsibility for the children at all times. This must be agreed directly with the Contractor.

Covid – 19 Policy

YOTSPACE and our superyacht captains take the safety and wellbeing of passengers very seriously. The superyacht follows on-board sanitisation protocols to ensure the vessel is highly sanitised at all times. All guests are to register their principle place of residence and disclose to the company (YOTSPACE) if they have recently visited a Covid-19 hotspot in the 3 weeks prior to departure. We will require passengers to visit their GP and provide a health report 72 hours prior to departure. We recommend self-isolation to the extent possible prior to departure.

Climate & Average Temperatures Sydney – Hawkesbury River

Sydney and the Hawkesbury River enjoys a sunny climate with mild winters and warm summers, perfect for making the most of the outdoors. Plan ahead with this information on temperature and rainfall.  

Summer (December – February) 
During summer average temperatures range from 18.6 – 25.8°C (65.5 – 78.4°F), and average humidity spikes to 65%. This is a great time to enjoy Sydney’s abundant beaches when water temperatures rise to 21.9 – 23.7°C (71.4 – 74.7°F). 

Autumn (March – May) 
Autumn the mildest time of year in Sydney when the humidity drops and average temperatures fall between 14.6 – 22.2°C (58.3 – 72°F). Crisp, fresh air makes autumn the season for enjoying Sydney’s coastal walks. Keep your eyes peeled for humpback whales, which migrate north from May to August. 

Winter (June – August) 
Sydney’s winter months are June to August when average temperatures drop between 8.8 – 17°C (47.8 – 62.6°F).  Sydney’s rainfall is generally highest in June, with an average of 132 mm (5.2 inches), while July is the coolest month when average daytime temperatures reach about 17°C (62.6°F).   

Spring (September – November) 
In spring, days are warmer but the humidity is not as high as summer. Average daily temperatures range from 11 – 23°C (51.8 – 73.4°F).

Gratuities / Tipping

Gratuities (tips) are not included in the superyacht charter price for services of the crew throughout the cruise. Tipping is optional and at the passengers discretion. In the superyacht industry it is normally the practice on sole charters that the prime guest gives a cash tip to the Captain and crew. However tipping the crew is entirely up to yourself. If you feel you have been extremely well looked after then we are sure the crew would really appreciate the tip. You may do this of your own accord or with your other guests on the superyacht voyage.

Day 1

Historical, cultural Hawkesbury River cruise. Join the superyacht Coroborree at Sydney Superyacht Marina in Rozelle and enjoy welcome drinks with your fellow YOTSPACE superyacht voyagers. Depart Sydney Harbour for Broken Bay along the picturesque Coastline of Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Look out for dolphins and other marine life along the way. Enter Pittwater around the iconic Barrenjoey Headland with the view of Lion Island passing by. Anchor off Palm Beach and tender in to explore the peninsula with a short stroll to the surf for a refreshing swim. Sundowners on board in the afternoon as the sun sets behind the stunning Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park and West Head.

For active guests you may wish to hike to the spectacular waterfall in America Bay in the morning for a refreshing swim. Ku-ring-gai National Park also as a high concentration of significant Aboriginal heritage sites.

Day 2

Enjoy breakfast and take a morning dip before the superyacht weighs anchor and begins meandering up to the Hawkesbury River Junction. We cruise past Dangar Island, under the Hawkesbury Bridges and around Milson Island to anchor off Berowra Waters and Peats Bight. Following a delicious lunch on board we take a tender ride into Bar Island, steeped in Colonial History with a convict grave and ruins of a church. Enjoy sundowners on board or visit Peats Bite for a cocktail on shore where you can enjoy the view of your superyacht.

Day 3 

Hawekesbury River Pearl Farm Tour: – Visit the Broken Bay Pearl Farm for an informative two hour tour to learn all about the harvesting of these precious pearls.  Next take a tender ride with the superyacht crew up and into the majestic Mooney Mooney Creek or Berowra Waters with a picnic prepared by the Chef. After hearing the tales of the bountiful fish species in this river you may wish to toss a line off the stern of the superyacht and try your luck.

Day 4 

Breakfast served in the morning while the superyacht begins cruising back down the Hawkesbury River towards Cowan Creek. Head past Peat Island, the forested Dangar Island and Little Wobby with it’s colourful locals waving from the shoreline. Dangar Island was discovered by Governor Arthur Phillip in March 1788. He named it Mullet Island for the abundance of fish. Anchor off Patonga Beach for lunch and a swim, or tender into the beach for a walk on the sand or through the quaint village. In the afternoon the yacht will cruise west and set anchor inside Jerusalem Bay, a picturesque and tranquil anchorage surrounded by Australian bushland and cockatoos.

Day 5

Following breakfast, take a short bushwalk into the National Park or launch the kayaks for exploring the shoreline and creeks. Take a tender run into Refuge Bay and shower beneath the waterfall or visit Cottage Point. Lunch on board before departing Jerusalem Bay for Coasters Retreat. Coasters Retreat is another bay nestled amongst the National Park. Popular with campers its soft, grassy grounds are surrounded by towering hoop pines and there is a perfect lagoon complete with clear water and sandy sea-bed to safely swim.

Day 6

Following breakfast you may choose to just relax in a quiet location on the superyacht or you may take the kayaks, paddle boards and Jet Ski to explore the shorelines while the Chef and crew prepare to serve lunch on Portuguese Beach. Following lunch on board we weigh anchor and cruise the eastern shoreline of Ku-ring-gai and into Morning Bay to anchor for the evening. Disembark from the superyacht and stretch the legs to explore Woody Point or take a kayak for a quiet paddle around the hidden lagoons.

Day 7

Enjoy a breakfast cruise around the shorelines of Morning Bay, Lovett Bay, Elvina Bay, Scotland Island and Church Point. Marvel at the incredible ‘Water-Access-Only’ architecture of this unique community, home to renowned Australian artists, architects and writers including Colleen McCullough (The Thorn Birds). We then follow the Western foreshore of the Northern Beaches; Newport, Clareville and Palm Beach before heading out to sea and returning to the Sydney Harbour superyacht marina for the completion of our Hawkesbury River YOTSPACE voyage.
