This may be your first and possibly your last Kimberley cruise, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to explore this remote and exotic wilderness in North Western Australia. So instead of booking passage on a huge cruise ship gather a few friends together and book yourselves a superyacht or luxury catamaran to see the Kimberley in a more relaxed way and on your own time schedule. You may even book by the cabin on a bespoke luxury catamaran cruise and join other like-minded travellers who also do not wish to travel with the crowd.
Use our YOTSPACE crew’s top tips below to ensure you have all the information you need to make the right yacht charter decision for you and your fellow travelling group based on your expectations and abilities when exploring the Kimberley. You may speak with our crew 7 days a week to discuss your perfect choice of yacht charter in the Kimberley.

All luxury yacht charter cruises offer their own individual style of expedition, and it’s important you know what to expect on board and the costs associated.
A private yacht charter or a book by the cabin cruise with YOTSPACE in the Kimberley is not like any other cruise you may have been on in the past. Our superyachts and catamarans are highly personalised expeditions on smaller vessels, with excursions included during a limited season. Each one of our luxury yacht charter prices reflects these differences, and our YOTSPACE crew are here to guide and help you find the best fit for you, your family, and friends.
Charter a superyacht or a luxury catamaran or book by the cabin as individuals or with your own group of friends to charter the whole yacht.
The Kimberley is an area of 423,517 square kilometres (163,521 sq mi), which is about three times the size of England, twice the size of Victoria, or just slightly smaller than California. There is so much to see and do; you need advice on making the most of your time away. Our Kimberley expeditions begin from Broome with yacht embarkation in Cygnet Bay.
A cruise along the Kimberley coastline is the bucket trip of a lifetime. This truly is one of the last great wildernesses on our planet; you will be amazed that you are still in Australia.
There is no end to the beauty and vastness of this beautiful land.

Generally speaking, guests will alight from their cabins on their own time whilst the boat’s crew are up very early preparing a sumptuous breakfast, which is normally served either in the air-conditioned saloon of the yacht or outside on the upper deck so guests can take in the exotic scenery that surrounds.
If the yacht’s schedule has a pre-arranged excursion for the day, guests will be given a briefing the night before to ensure they are well prepared for the next day’s adventure. Most excursions are land-based, so you will disembark the yacht on the boat’s tender vessel; you must be fit enough to manoeuvre in and out of a boat to begin your Kimberley expedition adventure. Guests are usually off the yacht for a few hours, returning to the boat for lunch. Depending on the anchorage, the afternoon may follow the same format, with guests returning to the boat to relax and freshen up before pre-dinner drinks are served and tales are shared from the day.
On other days, the yacht may be steaming to a new location, so there may be more time available for just relaxing and watching the spectacular scenery go by. Your crew may use this time to give informative talks on the flora, fauna, and history of the Kimberley. You can expect on-land excursions that include rock art sites, swimming holes, and hikes to waterfalls, depending on your specific yacht charter selection.

The tenders on a superyacht are quite stable, and the yacht’s crew are always on hand to assist passengers in and out of the tenders. However, you still need to be aware of your own capabilities and those of your fellow travellers. On our luxury catamaran cruises, the tenders are normally larger aluminium-style vessels, and passengers may need to be just that little bit more nimble.
As for the guided tours such as the walks/hikes, it is more about steadiness on your feet than endurance. The ground can be quite pebbly/rocky. However, at the minimum, you must be able to use stairs, unaided except for one walking stick, in case of emergency. If you have mobility issues, it’s best to book a call to speak with the YOTSPACE crew so we can provide you with the best information to suit your travel requirements.
No matter what the day holds, you will always be given information and choices, so there will always be an activity for you to participate in. Keep in mind our yacht charter crew will also offer scenic helicopter rides so that you may view the surrounding scenery and waterfalls effortlessly.

Book-by-the-cabin cruises offer an opportunity for solo travellers and couples to experience a luxury yacht expedition without the need to charter an entire vessel. These boutique cruises ensure you can enjoy the Kimberley’s breathtaking scenery and immersive experiences while sharing the adventure with like-minded guests.
Expect all-inclusive dining, premium guided excursions, access to exclusive locations, and expert crew service. With only four cabins available per voyage, booking early is essential to secure your place on these highly sought-after Kimberley cruises.

A Kimberley luxury yacht charter or a book by the cabin cruise provides an exclusive and immersive experience in one of the most remote and breathtaking regions in the world. Booking early ensures availability and allows for the best possible adventure.
