About the Whitsunday Superyacht Charter

Corroboree is a 33mt (110ft) superyacht that takes her name from the Aboriginal word meaning “gathering or ceremony” making her the perfect choice for our Great Barrier Reef and Whitsunday superyacht charter holidays.  

Capturing the very essence of luxury, Corroboree features spacious living areas including comfortable saloon lounge and formal dining, a large oversized flybridge with bar and modern amenities throughout.

Whitsundays Superyacht Charter

The superyacht offers a spacious upper sundeck, complete with alfresco dining table and seating, sky bar, sun lounges and barbeque area. This is where you can enjoy gathering for some meals to enjoy exquisite food and fine wines with fellow guests.   

Superyacht Toys

Her water toys will keep all guests entertained from the aft hydraulic swim platform for the sunny days on the reef. 

The superyacht sports a collection of water toys including kayaks, stand up paddleboards, lilypad, inflatable sofa and an optional jet ski*. A vast range of water gear suited for professional fishing, scuba diving (diving at guests extra expense – must be requested at time of booking) and snorkelling are also freely available for use.

Our on-board chef will be creating culinary delights matched with fine wines, champagne, spirits, beers and exotic cocktails to tantalise even the most well-developed palate for the entire cruise. The crew of Corroboree love setting up surprise events on remote islands and coral cays out in the middle of the reef where you may enjoy gourmet lunches on the beach, sunset drinks and canapes on remote sand cays.  

Snorkel & Scuba Dive The Great Barrier Reef 
For the scuba divers and snorkelers we may be visiting sections of the outer Great Barrier Reef where you will see both spectacular marine life and amazing corals. Friendly turtles, Giant Potato Cod and Maori Wrasse will be your companions as you navigate these gin clear waters and coral reefs. Please ask about scuba diving costs on booking your Whitsundays superyacht charter.

Whitehaven Beach – Whitsunday Islands

This is a must visit destination in the Whitsunday Islands. The famous white swirling sands of Whitehaven Beach can be seen from the various lookouts at Hill Inlet.   

Sink your feet into the sand, wade into the warm water that gently laps the shore and just drink in this stunning location 

Hook Island 

A visit to Hook Island is another must see Tropical Island within the Whitsundays. The clear waters around this island provide the perfect opportunity to dive and snorkel the reefs to see the colourful fish and corals. Another added attraction of Hook Island is the walking trail to the waterfall and to see the Aboriginal artworks created by the Ngaro people

Other Important Information

Fitness Level Required/Mobility

Most in-water activities will require a good level of fitness and a medical disclosure form will need to be pre-filled prior to participating in any water sports activities and prior to boarding the superyacht. If you choose to scuba dive you will need to advise on booking. (Diving at guests own expense) 

Superyacht Policy

No shoe policy on the superyacht – medical conditions may apply.
No smoking on the superyacht without prior permission from the captain.

Travel Insurance

We highly recommend you secure comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking your YOTSPACE superyacht charter holiday. This can be arranged through your luxury travel agent or a travel insurance company of your choice. 
On purchasing this Travel Offer you are bound by the General Terms and Conditions, in addition to the specific terms and conditions outlined in this Important Information. Please ensure to read full Terms and Conditions.

Confirmed Departure: This is a sole charter YOTSPACE superyacht voyage. Each luxury yacht charter voyage is a departure based on the receipt of the full payment on or before the eighth week of embarkation. Should the yacht fail to depart voyagers will be given the option of choosing another luxury yacht option with similar or same inclusions, costs and terms and conditions of the superyacht that was originally requested. Should we not find a suitable replacement yacht a refund less any bank merchant fees and a 10% administration fee will apply. We always recommend Travel Insurance and that all ancillary travel reservations have flexible conditions.

Payment Policy
To secure a luxury yacht charter voyage with YOTSPACE, a 50% deposit or full payment is required within forty-eight (48) hours of receiving confirmation of Your booking request.  Full payment is required on or before sixty (60) calendar days (8 weeks) before the Voyage Departure date. If the departure date is inside the sixty (60) calendar days (8 weeks), full payment must be paid at the time of booking.  As mentioned above, due to potential operational, Government directives, weather issues or other disasters out of our control we cannot guarantee that all voyages will depart.  Your YOTSPACE superyacht agent will notify You in the event the luxury yacht charter is cancelled.    

Guest Cancellations
Cancellation requests must be made in writing.  You are strongly advised to speak with your YOTSPACE crew member with regard to the purchase of specific travel insurance for the luxury yacht charter at the time of booking.  Cancellation requests received sixty (60) days or less prior to voyage departure – forfeiture of 50% deposit – Should we re-sell that reserved voyage, for that departure, for that date, prior to the Superyacht charter departure, an administration fee equal to only 10% of the voyage shall apply along with any bank or merchant transfer fees.  Cancellation within Thirty (30) days or less -100% of full Charter Fare to be forfeited.  Failure to board at the time of the luxury charter yacht voyage departure – 100% of the total Voyage Fare forfeited to the Contractor YOTSPACE. Note: Please refer to each individual private charter agreement prior to confirming your yacht charter agreement as these cancellations conditions may alter on some occassions such as peak season or special events.

Covid/ Pandemic Policy
Should a pandemic or an outbreak occur and disrupt travel plans in the destination of departure or a ruling government prevent travel, all paid bookings will be held for future travel when permitted and subject to availability.  Guests may be moved to another luxury yacht charter with similar or the same terms and conditions of the deferred voyage at no charge. Guests may also have the option of a refund of monies paid less any bank merchant fees and a 10% administration fee subject to the terms and conditions of the individual yacht charter agreement. Please consult your YOTSPACE superyacht crew member and update your travel insurance policy for the change of voyage date and change of yacht.

Provisioning Policy:- Should the superyacht charter voyage be cancelled last minute and the superyacht has already been supplied with the advanced provisioning of fresh food, supplies and beverages, the cost of the provisioning will be applied to your charter cost fees and no refund applies.

Whitsundays Superyacht Charter – Itinerary Sample

All of our YOTSPACE superyacht voyage itineraries are specifically curated with the charter guests requests in mind. Our luxury superyachts will endeavour to follow the voyage as described in each custom itinerary and the passenger accepts that each superyacht Captain has the right to change the itinerary, the yacht, or cancel the cruise as a result of some Unexpected Event or prevailing inclement weather conditions. The passenger accepts that the passenger will not be entitled to any compensation or a refund of the fare paid should this occur. The Whitsundays luxury yacht charter itinerary is an example only and is subject to weather conditions and the Captains discretion.

Hamilton Island Transfers
Hamilton Island offers a taxi service referred to as Resort Link which offers a 13 seater bus and luggage trailer to transfer passengers from the Hamilton Island Airport to Marina. Bookings can be made directly on 0437 242 847. Alternatively if you are staying on the Island transfers can be arranged through the hotel concierge. Note: There is a mooring fee charged for pick ups and drop offs on Hamilton Island approx $500.

Child Policy

All YOTSPACE sole charter superyacht voyages are intended for both adults and children who are travelling with family dependant on the region of the voyage. Children under the age of eighteen(18) (minors) will be accepted in circumstances where the charter is a sole charter voyage and cruising in a safe region. Parents and guardians are to take full responsibility for the children at all times. This must be agreed directly with the Contractor.

Covid – 19 Policy

YOTSPACE and our superyacht captains take the safety and wellbeing of passengers very seriously. The superyacht follows on-board sanitisation protocols to ensure the vessel is highly sanitised at all times. All guests are to register their principle place of residence and disclose to the company (YOTSPACE) if they have recently visited a Covid-19 hotspot in the 3 weeks prior to departure. We will require passengers to visit their GP and provide a health report 72 hours prior to departure. We recommend self-isolation to the extent possible prior to departure.

Climate & Average Temperatures

The region occupied by the Whitsundays in Queensland is sub-tropical which means a tropical climate of hot summers, warm winters and bright spring and autumn days.   
Winter (Jun – Aug) is mild to warm, 17 – 23 degrees 
Summer (Dec – Feb) can be humid, 23 – 31 degrees  
The other months remain a welcoming 25 degrees

Gratuities / Tipping

Gratuities (tips) are not included in the superyacht charter price for services of the crew throughout the cruise. Tipping is optional and at the passengers discretion. In the superyacht industry it is normally the practice on sole charters that the prime guest gives a cash tip to the Captain and crew. However tipping the crew is entirely up to yourself. If you feel you have been extremely well looked after then we are sure the crew would really appreciate the tip. You may do this of your own accord or with your other guests on the superyacht voyage.

Day 1

10.00am boarding time on superyacht Corroboree for YOTSPACE Whitsundays luxury yacht charter. Arrive at Hamilton Island via air transfer from Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne, or by boat from Coral Sea Marina and board the superyacht Corroboree at Hamilton Island Marina. Hamilton is the largest island in the Whitsundays. Meet the crew, tour the yacht and enjoy lunch on-board. Late afternoon cruise around to Perseverance Reef or Dent Island, with great swimming and snorkelling in clear water. Enjoy world class cuisine and enjoy the company of your family and friends.

Day 2

Secluded and quiet, Neck Bay is a favourite Whitsundays hangout among yachtsmen, with fantastic snorkelling. Spot many of the islands’ 1,500 species of fish, 360 species of hard coral, thousands of molluscs and hundreds of Starfish. The Whitsundays is also home to over 30% of the world’s soft corals. Marine turtles, whales and dolphins also swim these waters. It’s time to take out the superyacht toys, kayak, stand-up paddle boards. Enjoy world class cuisine and enjoy the company of fellow travellers. Overnight at anchor.

Day 3

Continue to Cid Island. You’ll be welcomed by bays, beaches and calm waters protected from the breeze. Spend the afternoon kayaking through the mangroves. For the ultimate Whitsundays sunset, we head to Katoomba Bank or the west coast overlooking the Molle Islands. Relax on the superyacht and enjoy the state of the art entertainment system and high speed internet or play in the aqua blue waters on the water sports equipment. Drop anchor in front of Hill Rock Reef or Cid Harbour for evening and overnight. Enjoy world class cuisine and enjoy the company of family and friends.

Day 4

After breakfast, hike the 5km trail up to Whitsunday Peak, about 1.5 hours, and take in spectacular views from the top. Back on-board, enjoy an afternoon of fun along the west coast of Whitsunday Island, one of the only parts of the islands where jet skis and other personal watercrafts are authorised. Later, cruise on to Hook Island. Separated from Whitsunday Island by a narrow passage, Hook Island offers vibrant waters for diving and snorkelling, with turtles, reef fish, dolphins, manta rays and humpback whales (June to Sept) frolicking in Whitsunday Passage. On land, enjoy fjord-like inlets, forest walks, pure blue waters and white beaches. For a culture hit, walk the trail at Nara Inlet and take in the waterfall and the Aboriginal rock art created by the original Ngaro people. Enjoy world class cuisine and enjoy the company of family and friends.

Day 5

Depart Hook Island towards Blue Pearl Bay on Hayman Island to explore underwater and experience some of the Whitsunday’s richest coral life. Alternatively, spend the morning on the sandbank on the west coast of Langford Island, where the crew will prepare a beach barbecue. Spend the afternoon snorkelling in Butterfly Bay on the Northern tip of Hook Island, exploring coral outcrops teeming with small colourful reef fish. Later, depart for the outer reef. Dine with a specialist dive guide brought on-board for tomorrow’s rendezvous diving session (If confirmed by guests and approved by the Captain). Overnight at Hardy reef. Enjoy world class cuisine and enjoy the company of family and friends.

Day 6

Today, discover Australia’s outer reef. For the scuba divers your dive guide will show you nearby drop-offs where you’ll find turtles, reef sharks and barracuda. For the snorkelers you will also find the region is excellent for spotting a myriad of marine life such as Big Eye Trevally, Coral Trout, Snapper, Giant Maori Wrasse and Giant Queensland Gropers that can be up to two metres long. Dine on-board on freshly caught seafood with stunning views. Optional Extras: Another optional activity at the guests own expense whilst on the voyage, is to see the coral reefs by helicopter, including the world famous Heart Reef. Enjoy world class cuisine and enjoy the company of family and friends.

Day 7

Start the day in Dumbell Island, where you can feed sea eagles off the aft deck. Hike up Hill Inlet to take in some of the best views in the world, a swirl of aqua and white as sands shift through waters. Award winning Whitehaven beach, the postcard view of the Whitsunday’s, is awe inspiring, with brilliant white silica sand that is among the purest in the world and remains cool, so you can walk its full 7km stretch. Enjoy world class cuisine and enjoy the company of family and friends. Later, short cruise to Hamilton Island for disembarkation. 10.00am and farewell your superyacht crew.
